Your position on the team – All Star!

Reporting to: VP, Growth

You are a Sales Development Representative (SDR)! The face of Cocoflo! A proponent of SMART CITY living! A conduit from market to solution!  You are responsible for the following:

  • Relentless target & lead generation

Work proactively to identify marketplace opportunities and prospect new clients and/or develop existing clients 

  • Robust planning, performing, & reporting 

Meticulously logging sales activities in CRM (Salesforce) and keeping current by updating account information regularly

  • Inspired business development initiative

Participating in conferences and other promotional events, building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, and expanding connections through networking events

  • Imaginative marketing strategy support 

Leveraging insight and market expertise in developing overarching strategies and tactics

  • Resourceful tech platform encouragement

Play a leading role in the translation of your customer's needs into solutions and winning propositions

The spot-on skills

  • An excellent communicator, negotiator and influencer who garners respect and credibility from business leaders, stakeholders and clients
  • High proficiency with a variety sales tools – Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, multiple video calling and presenting platforms

The track record

  • Experience in a sales development role or equivalent, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • 1+ years of quota carrying role or KPI accountability 

The knowledge fit

  • Graduated from a post-secondary institution.
  • Solid knowledge of municipal government is a definite plus.
  • Experience with SaaS, technology or a large transaction/process driven business would be nice to have.
